Ecuadoreans Can't Nix Chevron Suit Over $18B Verdict

Law360, New York (August 31, 2011, 8:36 PM EDT) -- A New York federal judge said Wednesday that Chevron Corp.'s suit seeking to overturn an $18 billion judgment against the company in Ecuadorean court could proceed, despite allegations that the suit was barred.
