Hogan Lovells Reps NextEra In $1B Gas Plants Sale

Law360, New York (September 2, 2011, 3:48 PM EDT) -- NextEra Energy Inc., the country's largest renewable energy operator, announced Friday that it would sell four natural gas-based power plants for $1.05 billion to LS Power Group.

The transaction includes plants owned by subsidiary NextEra Energy Resources LLC in California, Alabama, Virginia and South Carolina with a combined capacity of 2152 megawatts, enough to power more than 1.5 million homes.
