Email Marketer To Give Up Borders' Customer Info, IP

Law360, New York (September 6, 2011, 7:33 PM EDT) -- A New York bankruptcy judge approved an agreement Tuesday that calls for online marketer Next Jump Inc. to stop emailing Borders Group Inc.'s customers and take down Borders' trademarks from its website, resolving the most immediate issues in the companies' adversary contract suit.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Martin Glenn approved a stipulation between the parties that calls for Next Jump — which had a contract before Borders' February Chapter 11 filing to service the bookseller's website dedicated to rewarding return customers — not to send any more...
