UK Police Detain Man Linked To Phone Hacking Scandal

Law360, New York (September 2, 2011, 5:49 PM EDT) -- British police on Friday made the 15th arrest under Operation Weeting — the name given to its investigation into phone hacking at now-defunct tabloid News of the World — this time targeting an unidentified 30-year-old man.

The Metropolitan Police said the man was arrested by appointment at a North London police station shortly after noon on suspicion that he conspired to intercept voice mail messages and attempted to "pervert the course of justice."
