Workers Hit Circle K With FLSA Action

Law360, New York (September 7, 2011, 4:27 PM EDT) -- A pair of employees launched a proposed collective action Friday in Florida federal court accusing Circle K Stores Inc. of violating federal labor laws by denying to pay them overtime.

Plaintiffs Joaquina Martha Dominguez and Luis Villegas, employees of a Circle K location in Miami, filed suit on behalf of any similarly situated employees seeking recovery of wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
