Barco Targets Eizo Nanao For Video Display Patent

Law360, New York (September 6, 2011, 5:41 PM EDT) -- Belgium-based Barco NV sued Eizo Nanao Corp. in Georgia federal court Friday, claiming the Japanese rival's video monitors and displays illegally use a patented image processing system that corrects the brightness and color of pixels in real time.

Barco accuses Eizo of violating a patent it owns by assignment called "Methods, Apparatus and Devices for Noise Reductions," issued in December 2009.
