La. Says It Can't Produce Deepwater Docs On Time

Law360, New York (September 9, 2011, 7:24 PM EDT) -- Louisiana's attorney general on Thursday told a judge in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill multidistrict litigation that there was no chance the state would be able to produce an array of documents BP PLC was seeking by a court-imposed deadline.

Attorney General Buddy Caldwell said in a court filing that “under any scenario” the state wouldn’t complete document production by next week because the information BP requested was so broad.
