Wells Fargo Strikes Deal With Slashed Class

Law360 (June 15, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Wells Fargo & Co. and the plaintiffs who launched a securities class action against it filed a joint submission Friday, saying they will settle and asking the judge overseeing the case to defer the class certification he handed down two weeks ago.

The company and lead plaintiff Ronald Siemers expect to finalize their agreement by June 22 and want the ruling on class notice deferred until then, according to the motion.
