Commerce Nails 3 Chinese Cos. For Dumping Fasteners

Law360, New York (September 12, 2011, 3:26 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce issued a preliminary determination Monday finding that three exporters of steel nails from China had sold their products in the U.S. at less than fair value.

In a notice published in the Federal Register, Commerce said that The Stanley Works Langfang Fastening Systems Co., Tianjin Jinghai County Hongli Industry and Business Co. Ltd., and Tianjin Jinchi Metal Products Co. Ltd. had all dumped steel nails in the U.S. market between August 2009 and August 2010.
