Playwright Says Production Co. Infringed Copyright

Law360, New York (September 13, 2011, 7:11 PM EDT) -- The playwright of the show “Menopause The Musical” sued a Florida production company Tuesday for alleged copyright infringement, accusing GFour Productions Inc. of putting on the show despite having its rights under a contract repeatedly nixed.

Playwright Jeanette C. Linders and the show's licensing company and owner, J. Jargon Co., say they had entered into a series of agreements allowing GFour to produce the musical, which features women singing song parodies about menopause.
