Judge Puts Pine Street's $8M Arbitration Award On Hold

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 2:38 PM EDT) -- A New York judge's order filed Monday stayed the enforcement of Pine Street Associates LP's nearly $8 million arbitration award against three units of financial holding company Southridge LLC to determine whether the award had been fully satisfied.

Supreme Court Judge Bernard Fried said he needed more information from both sides about the securities portion of the award, which — in combination with a $3.2 million cash payment that has already been made — is supposed to satisfy the award, according to the order he signed...
