ITC Keeps Duties On Sulfanilic Acid From China, India

Law360, New York (September 14, 2011, 5:22 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission voted Wednesday to preserve existing countervailing and anti-dumping duties on sulfanilic acid from India and China, finding that lifting the tariffs would harm the U.S. domestic industry.

The ITC voted to keep the current countervailing duty orders on sulfanilic acid imports from India, as well as the current anti-dumping duty orders on imports of the product from both China and India, with all six commissioners backing the determination.
