Ex-Art Dealer Accused Of Making $2M Off Phony Works

Law360, New York (September 15, 2011, 9:22 PM EDT) -- A Florida man was arrested Thursday over allegations that he made at least $2 million by selling stolen and forged artworks to galleries and collectors.

Vero Beach, Fla., resident Matthew Taylor was arrested following a grand jury indictment last week in Los Angeles that charged him with seven felony counts for a long-running art theft scheme targeting a Southern California collector.
