Enviros Fail To Block $2B Calif. Power Project

Law360, New York (September 16, 2011, 3:35 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge refused Thursday to halt construction of a 117-mile transmission line, finding that plaintiffs had not demonstrated they would likely win a suit arguing federal officials did not properly assess the $1.9 billion project's environmental repercussions.
