Scotland Yard Demands Guardian Reveal Hacking Source

Law360, New York (September 16, 2011, 6:40 PM EDT) -- British newspaper The Guardian said Friday that Scotland Yard was seeking to legally compel its reporters to divulge sources related to the News of the World phone-hacking scandal.

London's Metropolitan Police plan to ask a court to order the two Guardian reporters who wrote an article in July about the now-defunct tabloid's breaking into a missing teenage girl's voice mail to reveal their sources, according to an article published in the newspaper.
