Kinder Morgan Seeks To Restart $38M Budget Arbitration

Law360, New York (September 19, 2011, 2:24 PM EDT) -- A Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP unit sued a pipeline company Friday in a bid to force it to continue arbitrating a contract dispute over a proposed $38.3 million budget after a setback in an initial stage of arbitration.

Kinder Morgan Kansas Inc. is also asking a Texas court to confirm an arbitrator's interpretation of an operating and reimbursement agreement between the energy giant and Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America LLC.
