Solyndra Asks For More Time To Find Buyers

Law360, New York (September 19, 2011, 4:08 PM EDT) -- Bankrupt solar panel manufacturer Solyndra LLC on Friday asked a Delaware bankruptcy court for more time to find potential buyers who could keep the company operating and rehire some of the 1,000 employees who were laid off in August.

Solyndra originally planned to find a buyer within four weeks of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing Sept. 6. But according to court documents filed Friday, the company now wants to extend the deadline for bids until Oct. 25.
