TV Chef Settles IP Fight With Business Partner

Law360, New York (September 20, 2011, 7:41 PM EDT) -- QVC Inc. television chef Bob Warden on Monday settled his suit in Pennsylvania accusing a business partner of tricking him into a misleading contract that allowed her to trademark his name.

U.S. District Judge Juan R. Sanchez dismissed the suit with prejudice after the parties reported they had settled. No additional information about the settlement was available, and attorneys working on the case did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
