Immersion Sued For Violating Sublicense Agreement

Law360, New York (June 19, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Fresh off its $150 million patent infringement win against Sony Corp., software developer Immersion Corp. is now being sued for allegedly breaching a sublicense agreement with Microsoft Corp.

According to the suit, which was filed Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, Immersion must pay Microsoft at least $15 million for any payments received from Sony up to $100 million, plus 25% of any payments from $100 million to $150 million and 17.5% of any payments over $150 million.
