FTC Attorney Argues For Stripping Rambus Of SDRAM Royalties

Law360, New York (December 12, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Chip maker Rambus abused its patents for a key memory-chip standard to inflate prices and should be stripped of its ability to collect as much as $3 billion a year in royalties, an attorney for the Federal Trade Commission suggested in oral arguments on Thursday.
