Wells Fargo Exec Dismissed From Insurer's MBS Suit

Law360, New York (September 21, 2011, 3:48 PM EDT) -- A onetime Wells Fargo Asset Securities Corp. executive was dismissed Tuesday from Union Central Life Insurance Co.'s New York lawsuit accusing a slew of financial services companies of making false and misleading statements about loans included in devalued mortgage-backed securities.

U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels signed off on David Moskowitz's dismissal from the case without prejudice. Moskowitz was president and CEO of Wells Fargo Asset, which is also named as a defendant in the case, along with its immediate parent, Wells Fargo Bank NA, according...
