Texas Takes EPA Emissions Row To DC Circ.

Law360, New York (September 21, 2011, 5:17 PM EDT) -- Texas officials asked the D.C. Circuit on Monday to review U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulations that require 27 states to curb power plant emissions that travel across state borders.

Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott “is deeply concerned about these new federal regulations' impact on the state of Texas, its electric grid and the Texans whose access to something as basic as electricity is threatened,” a spokeswoman for the state's top prosecutor said Wednesday.
