Krueger Sausage Hits Competitors With Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (September 21, 2011, 10:27 PM EDT) -- S&A Futures LLC, owner of the Krueger Sausage brand, on Wednesday sued rivals Sysco Chicago Inc., L&P Provisions and Real Sausage Corp. in Illinois for allegedly continuing to use the Kreuger trademark years after the termination of sales agreements allowing them to do so.

Krueger Sausage Co. Inc. manufactured and produced sausage products from 1915 to 1997, when co-plaintiff Kurt Krueger sold his rights in the company to Abbyland Illinois Inc., which licensed L&P, Sysco and Real to sell meats bearing the Krueger name.
