Madoff Trustee, Baker Hostetler Seek $45M In Fees

Law360, New York (September 21, 2011, 10:40 PM EDT) -- The trustee liquidating Ponzi schemer Bernard L. Madoff's investment management firm on Wednesday asked a New York bankruptcy judge to approve $45 million in fees for him and his firm Baker Hostetler to cover four months' worth of work.

Nearly all of the fees would go to Baker Hostetler, while trustee Irving H. Picard requested $600,000 for his services and court costs. The money is compensation for services provided between Feb. 1 and May 31, according to the court filing.
