Senate Panel Rejects GOP Push To Undercut NLRB

Law360, New York (September 22, 2011, 7:49 PM EDT) -- An effort by Senate Republicans to diminish the power of the National Labor Relations Board in its case against Boeing Co. failed to get the necessary votes to pass an amendment out of committee on Wednesday.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., proposed the amendment to an appropriations bill in the Senate Committee on Appropriations that would have limited the NLRB’s ability to tell a company where it can locate jobs in response to union activity.
