Ex-Live Nation Unit Didn’t Infringe Ticketing IP: Judge

Law360, San Diego (September 28, 2011, 10:31 PM EDT) -- A Delaware federal judge on Wednesday ruled that former Live Nation Entertainment unit Paciolan Inc. did not infringe Flash Seats LLC’s patent for an electronic ticketing system and also held that the patent was invalid.

U.S. District Judge Leonard Stark granted Paciolan’s bid for summary judgment and denied Flash Seats' motion to reconsider the court’s earlier claim construction ruling.
