'LA Law' Star’s Former Production Co. Enters Ch. 11

Law360, Los Angeles (September 28, 2011, 5:51 PM EDT) -- Public Media Works Inc., an entertainment production company turned movie rental kiosk business founded by "L.A. Law" actor Corbin Bernsen, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Friday in California.

"We believe that Chapter 11 is necessary to restructure the company's outstanding debt and establish a sustainable, long-term capital structure for the business," PMW’s CEO Martin W. Greenwald said in a statement released Monday. “Our goal is to emerge from Chapter 11 as soon as possible.”
