Ex-CME Programmer Accused Of Stealing Source Code

Law360, New York (September 28, 2011, 7:09 PM EDT) -- An Illinois federal grand jury on Wednesday indicted a former CME Group Inc. senior software engineer for stealing proprietary source code from the global exchange operator while planning to start a business to increase trading on a futures exchange in China.

Chunlai Yang was charged with two counts of trade secret theft in federal court in Chicago, U.S. Attorney Patrick J. Fitzgerald said Wednesday.
