Levi's Settles Jean Design IP Suit Against D&G

Law360, New York (September 28, 2011, 8:35 PM EDT) -- A California federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a suit brought by Levi Strauss & Co. against Dolce & Gabbana USA Inc. after the parties reached a settlement over the alleged infringement of a Levi's jeans design trademark.

The parties filed a notice Sept. 16 saying they'd reached a tentative settlement, and followed up with a stipulation Monday. Neither document provided details of the deal.
