Law360, New York (September 29, 2011, 4:40 PM EDT) -- Mid-Continent Casualty Co. and subcontractors of Lennar Corp. on Wednesday agreed to drop a lawsuit the insurer had lodged seeking to limit its liability for costs stemming from a Lennar suit that alleged the subcontractors installed faulty Chinese drywall in its Florida real estate developments.
A Florida federal judge signed off on the joint voluntary dismissal without prejudice on Thursday. Counsel for the parties couldn't immediately be reached for comment Thursday.
