EC Mulls Apple's iTunes Response

Law360, New York (June 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Just in time, Apple Computer Inc. responded Wednesday to a European Commission deadline for the company to address allegations that its agreements with a slew of major music labels have restricted cross-border access to Apple's online iTunes stores, in violation of competition laws.

Linda Cain, a spokesperson for the Commission, confirmed by e-mail on Thursday that the agency had received Apple's response by the June 20 midnight deadline.
