Aaron's Boss Acquitted Despite $95M Civil Assault Verdict

Law360, New York (September 29, 2011, 10:30 PM EDT) -- A former Aaron's Rents Inc. store manager was acquitted Wednesday of charges that he sexually assaulted an employee, just three months after a federal jury delivered a $95 million verdict against him and Aaron's in a related civil suit.

Following a three-day trial, an Illinois jury found Richard G. Moore not guilty of sexually abusing Ashley Alford at the Aaron's store where they both worked in Fairview Heights, Ill.
