Spotify Bends To Users' Privacy Concerns

Law360, New York (September 30, 2011, 6:46 PM EDT) -- Online music service Spotify Ltd. announced Thursday it was adding a feature that would make it easier to listen to songs without sharing them on Facebook, in response to complaints it received about privacy issues.

The so-called private listening mode, enabled through one click on a drop-down menu, lets users block the posting of their musical tastes on the social networking website until they elect to share them again or the next time they sign into Spotify.
