Law360, Los Angeles (September 30, 2011, 6:48 PM EDT) -- A Texas federal judge on Friday granted Cisco System Inc.’s motion to dismiss a Delaware-filed lawsuit against power converter maker SynQor Inc. seeking a declaration that it had not infringed six SynQor patents for high-efficiency power converters in the companies' ongoing multisuit patent battle.
U.S. District Judge T. John Ward’s order Friday marks the end of SynQor’s successful effort to stage the patent fight in the Eastern District of Texas, where SynQor is suing Cisco for infringement.
