Jurors have definitely become more aware about what goes on behind the scenes of a lawsuit. It has become common to hear mock jurors discussing insurance, contingency fees, settlement and appeals in mock deliberations. Data collected by the litigation and communication consulting firm Zagnoli McEvoy Foley LLC of 3,000 mock jurors in venues across the country found:
