High Court Wants US' View On Calif. Coastal Water Row

Law360, New York (October 3, 2011, 6:24 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court asked the federal government Monday for its take on a shipping association's challenge to California fuel use rules for ships, a suit that centers on whether federal law preempts California's ability to regulate vessels on coastal waters.
