Dairy Co., Insurers Settle Organic Claims Coverage Row

Law360, New York (October 3, 2011, 8:26 PM EDT) -- Aurora Dairy Corp. on Monday settled consolidated suits in Colorado federal court alleging a group of insurers had a duty to defend the company in a slew of consumer class actions claiming its milk was falsely certified as organic.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Craig B. Shaffer granted an order dismissing all of the claims from the litigation, including Aurora's claims for bad faith, breach of the duty of good faith and fair dealing, unfair claims-settlement practices, and unfair or deceptive trade practices, as well as its claims...
