Chinese Furniture Maker Seeks To Knock Down Duties

Law360, New York (October 4, 2011, 4:04 PM EDT) -- Furniture maker Dalian Huafeng Furniture Group Co. Ltd. lodged a suit Tuesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade alleging the U.S. Department of Commerce miscalculated sales figures and raw materials costs when assigning a tariff rate to the Chinese company.

Huafeng brought the complaint after Commerce issued its final decision regarding a fifth administrative review of wooden bedroom furniture imports from China for 2009, according to the suit.
