FedEx Resists Paying Attorneys' Fees In Race Case

Law360, New York (June 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Federal Express Corp. continues to fight against paying attorneys' fees for one of the plaintiffs in a race discrimination case against the shipping company.

FedEx contended Thursday that the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California should deny McCoy and Associates’ fee request for its work for plaintiff Charlotte Boswell as a sanction because the firm allegedly provided fraudulent billing information to the court.
