Samsung Aims To Thwart IPhone 4S Sales In France, Italy

Law360, New York (October 5, 2011, 3:32 PM EDT) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. plans to stop Apple Inc.’s latest version of the iPhone from reaching French and Italian hands anytime soon, announcing Wednesday that it intends to seek injunctions halting sales of the phone in both countries.

The move is the latest one-two punch thrown in what is becoming an all-out global brawl between the two technology giants over intellectual property covering the pair’s smartphones and tablet computers.
