DLA Piper Denies Hiding File In Discrimination Suit

Law360, New York (June 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- DLA Piper has adamantly denied withholding key documents in the case filed by a one-time employee who is accusing the prominent law firm and several partners and directors of racial and gender discrimination and creating a hostile work environment.

Edward Brill, an attorney for DLA Piper and its employees, on Thursday submitted a declaration stating that the defendants did not wrongfully hide a file related to the plaintiff, Charlene Morisseau. from the firm's human resources department.
