Motorola Targeted Over Mobile Device Tech Patents

Law360, New York (October 6, 2011, 6:38 PM EDT) -- Intellectual property holder Intellectual Ventures LLC lodged a complaint Thursday in Delaware accusing Motorola Mobility Inc. of infringing six patents covering technologies used in mobile devices, including a file transfer system and an image display apparatus.

Motorola products at issue in the suit include hardware and software components allegedly covered by Intellectual Ventures' patents titled “File transfer system for direct transfer between computers” and “Illumination device and image projection apparatus comprising the device.”
