GCs Say Labor Legal Market To Stay Steady — For Now

Law360, New York (October 11, 2011, 7:05 PM EDT) -- The market for labor and employment legal work will tread water through 2012, though companies' demand for such services may belly flop over the next five years, a new report on corporate legal spending says.

Spending on labor and employment legal services is projected to grow by 0.7 percent from 2011 to 2012, putting the market at $5.18 billion, its highest level in at least six years, according to the Premium Practices Forecast 2012 report from The BTI Consulting Group (Wellesley, Mass.).
