377K Pounds Of Beef Recalled Over E. Coli Risk

Law360, New York (October 12, 2011, 7:20 PM EDT) -- A California meat supplier announced Tuesday that it was recalling more than 377,000 pounds of ground beef products over concerns of possible E. coli contamination.

Commercial Meat Co. produced the affected beef between Sept. 7 and Oct. 6 and shipped the products to restaurants in California and Nevada, as well as one unidentified “federal establishment” in California for further processing, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
