Ex-Nova Datacom Exec Cops To $20M Contract Scheme

Law360, New York (October 14, 2011, 5:04 PM EDT) -- A former senior executive at information technology and planning firm Nova Datacom LLC pled guilty Thursday in Washington to helping orchestrate a federal contract scam that allegedly cost the U.S. government more than $20 million.

Rockville, Md., resident Theodoros Hallas entered a guilty plea in federal district court, admitting that while he was a executive vice president at Nova Datacom, he provided false information to federal authorities in order to secure lucrative contracts for the firm.
