Google Steps Into Microsoft Antitrust Case

Law360, New York (June 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In yet another twist in the Microsoft Corp. antitrust saga, Google Inc. has asked a judge to extend the consent decree reached between Microsoft and state and federal antitrust regulators.

Last week, Google asked Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia to extend the consent decree, reached as part of the settlement between Microsoft and the U.S. Department of Justice, to November 2009.
