National Grid Settles VA Contract Payment Dispute

Law360, New York (October 17, 2011, 4:38 PM EDT) -- A National Grid USA subsidiary agreed to drop breach of contract claims against the U.S. government on Friday in a suit alleging the Department of Veterans Affairs shorted it more than $305,000 on contracts to supply gas to VA facilities in Massachusetts.

In a stipulation filed in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, Boston Gas Co. agreed to have the suit dismissed with prejudice, settling with the U.S. government for an unspecified amount.
