Michel Takes Reins As Federal Circuit Chief Judge

Law360 (January 4, 2005, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Honorable Paul R. Michel has become Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, taking the reins after a seven-year tenure by Circuit Judge Haldane Robert Mayer.

Mayer relinquished the duties of Chief Judge on December 24, 2004, but will remain active as a judge on the court.
