Steel Nails In Target Tool Kits Don't Get Duties: Commerce

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 4:39 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Friday again concluded that steel nails in household tool kits from China imported by Target Corp. are outside a current anti-dumping-duty order, clarifying its reasoning in order to comply with the U.S. Court of International Trade.

The matter now goes back to the CIT, which rejected Commerce's original determination that Target's tool kits were outside the order's scope after a U.S. nail producer challenged the finding.
