Commerce Backs Duties For Taiwanese Carbon Pipes

Law360, New York (October 18, 2011, 7:11 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce on Tuesday set final dumping rates as high as 41 percent for certain carbon steel pipe products imported from Taiwan in its five-year review of the duties.

The International Trade Administration issued its final determination in the sunset review of anti-dumping duties on light-walled welded carbon rectangular steel pipe and tube from Taiwan Tuesday, though the U.S. International Trade Commission had yet to finish its parallel review of the case.
